About Us

Telangana Runners is a transformative movement created in response to the alarming rise in lifestyle diseases such as obesity, diabetes, heart conditions, and other health challenges affecting individuals of all age groups—from teens to adults to the elderly, and even the younger generation. Asia, particularly India, has become the global epicenter for lifestyle-related diseases. In this environment of quick fixes and high treatment costs, there has been little focus on prevention and sustainable solutions.

To counter this worrying trend, we are forming Telangana Runners with a mission to revolutionize fitness and build cardiac endurance across the state. This not-for-profit initiative unites runners from Telangana’s 33 districts—villages, towns, and cities—to combat the growing prevalence of sedentary lifestyles and their health consequences. By fostering awareness, advocating for fitness, and creating opportunities for people to embrace running, we aim to create a healthier, fitter Telangana.

Events: Organizing regular runs, including flagship events like the Telangana Marathon, to unite and inspire people across the state.

Training & Coaching: Offering accessible programs to build fitness and running capabilities in villages, towns, and cities.

Advocacy: Collaborating with government bodies, healthcare institutions, educational establishments, and workplaces to promote active living.
